Camborne - Cornwall

Over 200 properties belonging to Coastline Housing Limited have received the webertherm EWI remedial treatment. The houses and bungalows, built around 1953, are of a variety of wall construction including solid brickwork and some with part cavity construction, webertherm XP was specified to bring the properties up to adequate thermal efficiency.

The target U-value of 0.30 W/m²K was achieved improving from a very poor 2.22 W/m²K, ensuring improved comfort for residents, reduced energy consumption and CO2 emissions.

Coastline obtained funding support through the Community Energy Saving Programme (CESP) in association with energy provider EDF to carry out whole house energy efficiency measures.

webertherm XP uses a polymer-modified, through-coloured, lightweight mineral render with One-Coat Technology which is recognised for its contribution to minimising programme works by reducing time on site. All webertherm systems offer a low maintenance and durable protective surface with a choice of attractive finishes and colours. The final finish at Camborne was created with a dry dash aggregate in cream which was applied to maintain the original aesthetics of these properties.
