Making improvements to Manor Road, Seaford
A coastal home has been given a striking facelift with the application of a crisp new render.
East Sussex-based Complete Rendering Systems (CRS) rejuvenated the residential property in Seaford to improve its overall appearance.
The work involved a comprehensive “hack-off” and re-render using a selection of Weber products.
Firstly, the existing façade was removed, before the team from CRS applied weberend aid – a stipple render used as a preparatory coat to improve the mechanical key.
A coat of new weberpral E through-coloured monocouche render in Chalk was then machine-applied to achieve a consistent and high-quality finish.
Being located in a coastal environment, the Manor Road property faces exposure to harsh weather conditions. The durability and resistance to coastal conditions of weberpral E made it an ideal choice, ensuring long-term protection for the home’s underlying structure.
Thanks to its reduced water absorption, weberpral E can be applied at just 15mm thickness to achieve the same level of protection as a 20mm application of standard renders.
While weberpral E is still relatively new to the Weber range of market-leading monocouche renders, it has already demonstrated its effectiveness on residential projects like Manor Road.
The homeowners were delighted with the result, and the success of this project has set the stage for the continued rollout of weberpral E on other developments for CRS.
Bradley Halls - Complete Rendering Systems
“We were really impressed with the way weberpral E performed.
It’s lightweight and holds its shape very well, allowing for a smooth, uniform finish even when working with challenging substrates.
We’ve used Weber products for years; this matches up to the usual quality we’ve come to expect, while also helping to reduce our carbon footprint as it contains increased levels of recycled material.”
