weberfloor acoustic system (Robust Detail E-FC-9)

weberfloor acoustic system (Robust Detail EFC-9) is designed for application under acoustic matting as defined by Robust Detail EFC-9. Suitable for application at as little as 40mm, while still achieving the acoustic requirements for a Robust Detail. 

This system can be walked on from 2 hours and is capable of rapid overlay with tiles or a moisture-sensitive flooring finish.

Suitability

• Suitable for use as part of Robust Detail EFC-9 to achieve required acoustic performance
• System can be applied at as little as 40mm under sound insulation
• weberfloor 4955 dB mat is a very thin sound barrier mat that is easy to cut and handle

Application

• Floor screed (weberfloor base rapid 4360): Applied by machine or hand
• Sound barrier mat (weberfloor 4955): Applied by hand
• Glass fibre mesh (weberfloor 4945): Applied by hand

Curing times

• After 2-3 hours: Suitable for foot traffic
• After 12 hours: Suitable for covering with tiles
• After 1-7 days: Suitable for other floor coverings

Final finish

• Provides an ultra smooth surface, perfect for final floor finishes such as vinyl, laminate, carpet or tiles
