Five things you need to know about weberpral E

weberpral E

As the construction industry continues to change and evolve, sustainability and efficiency have become key considerations for contractors, architects, and housebuilders as they seek to lower their environmental impact on the planet.

Our latest innovation, weberpral E, is a significant step forward in this area.  It offers all the benefits of a traditional monocouche render but delivers considerable environmental advantages and requires less material to achieve a great result.

Here are five facts about weberpral E that make it stand out in today’s market.

It uses innovative cement replacement technology

One of the standout features of weberpral E is its use of a next generation of cement replacement technology.

This innovative approach reduces reliance on traditional cement and GGBS (Ground Granulated Blast-Furnace Slag) by using recycled material to significantly cut CO2 emissions and push the boundaries of sustainability.

Compared to our other monocouche render products, weberpral E boasts additional levels of recycled content.

It emits less carbon emissions without compromising performance*

Designed with environmental performance in mind, weberpral E Chalk reduces carbon emissions from fossil fuels by 22%* - and by 10% overall compared to our current monocouche render. It also cuts energy consumption by 25%, non-renewable energy consumption by 19%, and uses 28% less water throughout its lifecycle.

This aligns perfectly with the construction sector’s growing emphasis on reducing carbon emissions and the war on waste.

It can be applied at a reduced thickness in locations classified as severe

In locations subject to harsh weather conditions and classified as severe, many renders require 20mm application.

However, weberpral E has reduced water absorption and is tested and approved at just 15mm scraped thickness – even in areas with high levels of wind-driven rain.

This not only cuts the amount of material needed by around 25% – thus lowering costs – but also contributes to a faster, more efficient build.

It’s been blind tested by the pros

It isn’t just a theoretical improvement – weberpral E has been tested in real-world conditions**.

In blind trials involving professional renderers, it was rated #1 across several key performance areas, including spraying, ruling, and scraping, when compared to other leading monocouche renders.

The feedback from live projects has also been overwhelmingly positive, with contractors noting how much lighter, whiter and easier it is to apply.

It offers the same great durability and finish

Despite its environmental credentials, weberpral E doesn’t sacrifice on performance. It offers the same durability and weather resistance as weberpral M.

As it is through-coloured for a low-maintenance finish, resistant to algae growth, and can be applied to create ashlar or quoin details, weberpral E will remain a top choice for any project.

Ultimately, our new weberpral E monocouche render is just as good as the original monocouche but is better for people and the planet.

Don’t just take it from us – the renderers who trialled it said it’s more comfortable to use, too!
