While weberwall brick has achieved an A2 fire rating (meaning it is of limited combustibility) we do not recommend using it in a fireplace or near an open flame as it can be damaged if placed too close. We recommend that weberwall brick is placed a minimum of 300mm away from an open flame.

weberwall brick has a dedicated pointing mortar available in a range of colours to compliment our brick colours.

Yes. We have created a spec (SR348) for the application of weberwall brick onto blockwork. This specifies the use of weberend aid (if required) followed by a coat of weberend OCR. This is then finished with external adhesive/Mesh/external adhesive and weberwall brick as per our standard external system.

For more information on the spec, please contact your local Specification Manager.

All colour of weberwall brick can be used on EWI. However due to their lower LRV values, the darker colours (Sanded Slate and Sanded Black) should only be used with MFD insulation.

Durability testing is a key element of our BBA certification. This includes accelerated weathering, wind load and resistance to impact testing. The expected design life for the system is 30 years, for EWI systems this can be extended to 60 years. See our BBA certificate for details.

We are often asked about impact resistance - the weberwall brick system performs at the same level as our existing EWI systems. We even have a demonstration video of footballs being kicked at the system to demonstrate the impact resistance.
