About this system

weberpral monocouche scraped system is designed for fast-track installation onto suitable masonry substrates, but a layer of weberend aid may be required (see system build-up below for more information).

Through-coloured monocouche render weberpral M (or weberpral D in Ireland) is applied at a thickness of 18mm and then scraped back to 15mm to provide a low maintenance scraped texture finish available in 24 popular colours (or 12 popular colours in Ireland).

Use multiple finishes on the same project

This system can be used in conjunction with the weberend dry dash system for building designs which require a mix of render finishes.

Optional stipple coat

weberend aid

Depending on the substrate, weberend aid may need to be specified in order to achieve the correct level of suction and key.

weberend aid is required when applying onto:

Blockwork of an unsuitable density (1350-1450kg/m³ is a suitable density)
Brickwork without recessed mortar joints
Concrete

Stipple render used as preparatory coat to improve key and equalise suction over mixed backgrounds.EPD

Substrate

weberpral moncouche renders can be applied onto blockwork, brickwork or concrete substrates, however an application of weberend aid may be required.

A1 reaction to fire classification in accordance with BS EN 13501. Extended application report on request.

Certification & requirements:

BBA approved (scroll down for BBA certificates).

Suitability:

Single coat for fast application and shorter programme periods.
Formulated to be spray applied by render pump for faster application.
Coloured render for low maintenance with no further decoration required.
Weather and algae resistance

Things to consider

Substrates must have a good mechanical key suitable for rendering, weberend aid must be used to provide an artificial key on substrates such as smooth concrete
Do not apply if frost is forecast within 24 hours of use
Do not apply in damp or wet conditions
Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C or above 30°C
Do not apply in direct sunlight or where the substrate is hot
Not suitable for use on construction board substrate (concrete particle board/render board), use weberend MT
Not suitable for use on insulation board substrate, use webertherm XP
When stored unopened in a dry place at temperatures above 5°C, shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture printed on the side of the bag
